Our tours include Eco-cultural Experiences (2-day) for groups of 6-20 and River Fishing Tour on Horse-back (1-day & Overnight) for groups of 1-2.

The Tolaga Bay Inn is your gateway to the East Coast and has been providing warm hospitality for over 130 years since 1881. As descendants of the coast we have a responsibility to restore and preserve our heritage for our next generations.  So we have created the Tolaga Bay Inn Charitable Trust to oversee the restoration of our historical Inn and help regenerate our community by fostering tourism and digital technology development.  We have an on-site café, bar, garden bar and upstairs accommodation for travellers. We are 10mins walk to the beach and have an information centre onsite to help with local advice and guidance.

Ahipara Horse Treks is a locally owned and operated business. We are located in Ahipara, at the base of Ninety Mile Beach, just 10 minutes drive west of Kaitaia. We provide 1 and 2 hour treks along one of New Zealand’s most beautiful west coast beaches, and may include, where practical gently rolling grasslands and the excitement of ocean riding. Our horses are very safe and suitable for all ages and riding abilities, allowing you to enjoy the stunning scenery accompanied by our friendly and experienced guides!
