The fully furnished whare incorporates a modern design with ancient cultural significance through unique carvings depicting the kaitiaki (guardians) of the local Ngāti Awa and Te Whānau-ā-Apanui tribes.
The cottage is designed for maximum comfort and minimal stress, with an outdoor spa, barbecue, and just a few minutes’ walk to beautiful Ōhope Beach.
A continental breakfast is provided in the cottage, and welcome drinks and nibbles are shared with manuhiri (guests). The whare offers a romantic retreat especially suitable for couples.
