Auckland Ghost Tours Provides a lantern lit Tour through the historical Streets of Auckland. Starting from Pre Colonial New Zealand and the story of the Maori People we treat guests to an inside look into what New Zealand prior to English and European colonization. We share tales about Ancient Maori Life, including Tribal Warfare and past battles, as well as stories on Maori Protocol and Ritual such as beheadings and Mokomokai or Toi Moko (Head Shrinking and Preservation) and the practices of Ta Moko, Kai Tangata Cannibalism, Tapu, Rahui, Karakia and much more.
