Postponment of NZ Māori Tourism AGM

I hope that you, your staff, families and friends are all safe after the events over the past few days. We have been in touch and or have heard from a number of our affected Maori tourism operators and whanau from Te Waipounamu. A paanui will come out in due course regarding damage but will be coordinated with those that have been affected. In the meantime, NZ Maori Tourism is assessing how it will contribute on behalf of our sector and with those who are working on the ground.

Due to these events, NZ Maori Tourism’s Board has decided to postpone our AGM scheduled for this Thursday 17th November until February 2017. We have had queries from a number of members who were confirmed to attend and are now (understandably) not able to.

We will be advising the Companies Office about our late return.

If you have any questions about this decision, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are all working from home currently until tomorrow but are able to be contacted by email or our cellphones.

Nga mihi nui, na
