Tourism Export Council NZ (TEC NZ) has put together this 4
-Year Forecast of when TECNZ envisions markets being reactivated once safe border controls are developed and implemented. The roadmap includes pre-COVID international arrivals per country and what they think the annual number of visitors will be YE Mar 2021, 2022 and 2023. If the trans-Tasman border opens by October 2020 and Asia-Pacific by Christmas, TEC NZ forecasts that New Zealand can return to pre-COVID annual visitor arrivals by YE Mar 2024.
