Māori Tourism workshops and Dragons' Den registration

NZ Māori Tourism invites you to register for the highly anticipated Māori Tourism Workshops and Dragons’ Den in Ōtautahi Christchurch from Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 August.

Join us and Māori tourism experiences from around Aotearoa for an informative, two-day session to network and explore ideas with guest speakers from business support services, industry inspirational speakers and Government ministers, as well as listen to presentations from the 2019 Māori tourism Dragons' Den finalists.

Registrations close Monday 5 August. Registrations now closed

The day sessions will be held at the Commodore Hotel (five minutes from Christchurch Airport) with the networking dinners held off site. Return transport will be provided from the Commodore to the networking dinners.

Dragons’ Den

Thank you to everyone that applied for the Dragons’ Den, we received a huge array of interest from around the motu! The shortlisting process is still underway for Dragons Den but we encourage everyone who applied to come along and support and network with other Maori tourism businesses!

The shortlisted applicants for Dragons’ Den will present to not only the Dragons, but in front of you, too. Please show your respect and support for them as they stand onstage and present their ideas in front of a group of strangers! We wish them all the best of luck.

The Māori tourism workshops will appeal to all Māori tourism experiences, whether start-up or established. There is no cost to attend, but you do need to register to attend here. Registrations close Monday 5 August.

We look forward to seeing you in Ōtautahi next month!
